Day 1 Prague

Welcome to your tour with Europamundo! We’ll transfer you to the hotel and you’ll have some free time. In the afternoon, you’ll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.

Day 2 Prague

In the morning, we’ll enjoy a panoramic tour with a local guide in this city, considered one of the most beautiful in Europe. Highlights include the Castle, the Town Hall Square, and the stunning Charles Bridge. After the tour, you will have free time to stroll through the bustling city center and enjoy lunch at your leisure.At 7:00 p.m., we’ll take an evening transfer to the historic center, where you’ll find numerous traditional breweries, as well as excellent dining options and a lively nightlife atmosphere.

Day 3 Ceske Budejovice & Cesky Krumlov & Prague & Vienna

Today we get to know a bit more about the CZECH REPUBLIC as we travel south.Beautiful landscapes in the Bohemian region. Stop in ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE, the capital of South Bohemia. Its historic center is well preserved, with a large square, cobblestone streets, and Renaissance and Baroque buildings. Free time for a walk.We continue to ČESKÝ KRUMLOV, a stunning small medieval town declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, set on a canyon and surrounded by old walls. Free time to stroll and have lunch.In the early afternoon, we head towards AUSTRIA. Arrival in VIENNA, the Austrian capital, in the mid-afternoon.

Day 4 Vienna

In the morning, we’ll enjoy a panoramic tour of the city, during which we’ll discover its majestic avenues, impressive palaces, elegant parks, and charming historic center. At nightfall, we’ll have a transfer to the Town Hall Square, where you can admire the beautiful illumination and enjoy the lively evening atmosphere of the surrounding streets.

Day 5 Dürnstein & Linz & Melk & Vienna

Today we will travel through the WACHAU VALLEY, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, always following the course of the Danube. Our first stop will be KREMS, a charming town on the banks of the Danube, known for its medieval historic center.We then continue along a scenic road that follows the river to <strong data-start="442" data-end="455">DÜRNSTEIN, a small medieval village on the Danube, surrounded by vineyards and green hills, and famous for the ruins of the castle where <strong data-start="583" data-end="608">Richard the Lionheart was once imprisoned.Continuing through the Danube Valley, we reach <strong data-start="678" data-end="686">MELK, where you will have time for lunch before visiting the majestic Benedictine abbey. Admission to <strong data-start="784" data-end="798">Melk Abbey is included, a Baroque masterpiece renowned for its extraordinary library, the Marble Hall, and its beautiful gardens.We then continue our route with a brief stop in ST. FLORIAN to admire the exterior of its impressive abbey.Arrival in <strong data-start="1043" data-end="1051">LINZ in the mid-afternoon, Austria’s third-largest city, located on the banks of the Danube. Free time to stroll through the historic center and its lively Hauptplatz before heading to the hotel.

Day 6 Gmunden & Linz & Salzburg & St. Wolfgang

Today will be our “Lake Day”, filled with beautiful scenery and small picturesque towns. We will depart for Gmunden, located on the shores of Lake Traunsee, surrounded by mountains and elegant 19th-century villas. Here we will enjoy a cruise on Lake Traunsee (approximately 1 hour).We will disembark in Ebensee and continue our route to St. Wolfgang, one of Austria’s most picturesque villages, set on the shores of Lake Wolfgangsee and a renowned pilgrimage site. Its narrow streets, Alpine-style façades, and charming cafés invite you to explore at a leisurely pace. Time for lunch and free time to stroll.We then continue to Salzburg, arriving at around 4:00 PM. Free time in this UNESCO World Heritage city, renowned for its perfectly preserved Baroque old town, medieval squares, Renaissance churches, and imposing fortress. Salzburg is also the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Day 7 Krimml falls & Innsbruck & SALZWELTEN MINES & Salzburg & ZELL AM SEE

Today will be our “Mountain Scenery Day.” We will depart for Salzwelten, Austria’s largest salt mines, where we will take the guided tour (including the underground train ride and a boat trip on the subterranean salt lake).Afterwards, surrounded by mountain landscapes, we will continue to Zell am See, a charming lakeside town framed by Alpine peaks, with a historic center and a medieval tower. You will have free time to stroll and enjoy lunch.We then proceed to the Krimml Waterfalls (admission included), located in the heart of Hohe Tauern National Park. With a total drop of 380 meters over three cascades, they are the highest waterfalls in Austria and among the most impressive in Europe.We continue on to Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol, set amid dramatic mountain scenery, featuring a charming pedestrian old town highlighted by the famous Golden Roof.

Day 8 Innsbruck

Today we’ll explore some places near the capital of Tyrol. Our first stop will be at SWAROVSKI, where we’ll enjoy the impressive Crystal Museum (admission included), with immersive rooms, contemporary art, and the iconic giant head covered in crystals. Next, heading up the mountain, we’ll stop in SEEFELD, a popular ski resort boasting a pleasant pedestrian center. After crossing into Bavaria, in Germany, we’ll reach MITTENWALD, a charming town famous for its fresco-painted houses and long-standing tradition of violin making. You’ll have free time to stroll and have lunch. Finally, we return to INNSBRUCK; arrival in the early afternoon and free time.

Day 9 Innsbruck & Vienna

Transfer to the station to take the train to Vienna. Arrival in VIENNA (scheduled arrival around 1:45 p.m.).Notes: The train journey will be made without an Europamundo guide; tickets will be provided and transfer to the station in Innsbruck included. In some cases, depending on the number of travelers, the trip to Vienna will be made by coach with our guide.

Day 10 Vienna

After breakfast, our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
