Day 1 Mexico City

Welcome to Mexico! Transfer to the hotel and free time. Our guide will contact you late in the afternoon.

Day 2 Mexico City

Today, we’ll explore the remarkable site of TEOTIHUACAN (entrance included), located just 40 km from the capital. After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey at the Plaza of the Three Cultures, where past and present merge seamlessly. From there, we’ll continue to the impressive archaeological site of Teotihuacan, where we’ll visit the monumental Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, the Temple of Quetzalpapalotl, the Citadel, and the Avenue of the Dead. We’ll also stop by a local artisan center. On our way back to the city, we’ll visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the patroness of Latin America. After returning to the hotel, the rest of the day will be free.

Day 3 Mexico City & Cuernavaca & Taxco & Tepoztlan

After breakfast, we’ll depart from MEXICO CITY and head to the state of MORELOS in TEPOZTLAN, a charming Pueblo Mágico known as a spiritual and wellness destination set against a striking green hillside with a small pyramid at the top. Here, you’ll have free time to explore the town’s streets or browse its artisan market.We’ll then continue to CUERNAVACA, the capital of MORELOS and known as “The City of Eternal Spring.” Founded in pre-Hispanic times, this city later became a retreat for Aztec nobility and the colonial Spanish elite. Highlights include the Palace of Hernán Cortés, the cathedral, and the city’s beautiful gardens and parks. Free time for lunch.Our journey will then take us to TAXCO in the state of GUERRERO, one of Mexico’s most picturesque Pueblos Mágicos nestled among mountains. With its colonial charm, cobbled streets, whitewashed houses, and renowned silver craftsmanship, Taxco is an unforgettable destination. You’ll have time to explore the city before settling in for the night.

Day 4 Acapulco & Taxco

After breakfast, we’ll travel through the mountains toward the capital of the state of<strong data-start="199" data-end="235"> GUERRERO and continue to the Pacific coast. We’ll arrive in ACAPULCO, a famous city known for its beaches and stunning scenery. There will be free time to enjoy its popular beach, lined with restaurants where you can have lunch and swim. In the afternoon, we’ll include <strong data-start="532" data-end="581">entrance and a visit to the Fort of San Diego, a 17th-century fortress built to protect the city from pirate attacks. After the visit, we’ll transfer you to the hotel and you’ll have free time to relax.

Day 5 Acapulco & Zihuatanejo

After breakfast, we’ll continue our journey along the Pacific Coast, traveling 230 km to reach ZIHUATANEJO, a charming tourist destination known for its pristine beaches, relaxed atmosphere, and quaint cobblestone streets. Originally a quiet fishing village, Zihuatanejo has retained its unique charm. This trip includes a short boat ride (10 minutes) to Playa Las Gatas, accessible only by sea, where you’ll have the opportunity to swim, relax, and have lunch at one of the many restaurants. After returning by boat, it will be time to get settled into your accommodation and enjoy some free time. Note: During peak season, accommodation options in Zihuatanejo may be limited. In such cases, we may depart in the late afternoon to stay in the city of Lázaro Cárdenas.

Day 6 Janitzio & Patzcuaro & Zihuatanejo

The scenery will slowly transform as we leave the desert landscapes behind and enter the green mountains of MICHOACAN. Our first stop will be LAKE PATZCUARO, where we’ll board a boat for a 30-minute journey to JANITZIO, an island inhabited by the Purépecha community, known for preserving its traditions and unique butterfly-net fishing. You’ll have time to enjoy lunch at one of the many local restaurants, stroll through the traditional streets, and, if you wish, climb to the impressive statue of José María Morelos.We’ll return by boat to PATZCUARO, one of the most beautiful colonial towns in MEXICO, with its pre-Hispanic roots, colonial architecture, artisan markets, and charming ambiance that make it truly unforgettable.

Day 7 Guadalajara & Morelia & Patzcuaro & Tlaquepaque

We’ll depart for <strong data-start="154" data-end="165">MORELIA, the capital of Michoacán — a UNESCO World Heritage City known for its magnificent pink-stone architecture and beautiful historic center. Highlights include its Cathedral, Plaza de Armas, and the University of Morelia, founded in 1540. There will be free time to stroll around and enjoy lunch.On our route, we’ll stop in TLAQUEPAQUE, a Pueblo Mágico filled with mariachi music, live performances, artisan shops, and a variety of local cuisine.We’ll then continue to GUADALAJARA, the capital of the state of Jalisco, a vibrant colonial city known as the birthplace of Mariachi and Tequila. Arrival will be in the late afternoon.

Day 8 Guadalajara

In the morning we include a visit to Guadalajara, the modern metropolis with its colonial historic center, its cathedral, its market, its Tapatía square. We will enter the Cabañas Hospice, declared Unesco World Heritage. After the visit, we will go on to the next town of TEQUILA, we include entrance to the MUNDO CUERVO distillery and will see how this famous Mexican drink is made (entrance and tasting included). After this, time for a stroll and lunch in the picturesque town of Tequila. After lunch, we return to Guadalajara.

Day 9 Guadalajara & Guanajuato

We travel to the state of GUANAJUATO. Arrival at midday. In the afternoon we include a city tour of this very beautiful university city declared World Heritage, its steep slopes, its narrow streets, its churches, and we also include a cable car ride to admire the view from “el Pípila”.

Day 10 Dolores Hidalgo & Guanajuato & Queretaro & San Miguel de Allende

We’ll travel through the mountains to Dolores Hidalgo, the birthplace of Mexican independence. Next, we’ll visit the Sanctuary of Atotonilco, known as the "Sanctuary of God and Country," also declared a World Heritage Site (please note that on some occasions we may not be able to visit the interior due to ongoing retreats). Afterwards, we’ll explore San Miguel de Allende, a stunning World Heritage city with beautiful colonial architecture and charming cobbled streets. There will be time to stroll around. Later, we’ll arrive in Queretaro, known for its magnificent colonial center, its Plaza de Armas, and its lively restaurants and pedestrian streets.

Day 11 Queretaro

We’ll enjoy a free morning in QUERETARO, giving you time to further explore this historic city, celebrated for its rich cultural and architectural heritage. Founded in 1531, Querétaro played a vital role in Mexico’s independence and the Mexican Revolution. Its historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is filled with stunning plazas, baroque churches, and colonial buildings. During these days, you’ll have the opportunity to stroll through its magnificent downtown with cobbled streets, vibrant squares surrounded by colonial architecture, and colorful facades. You can also visit its 18th-century aqueduct, gardens, and markets.In the afternoon, we’ll include a unique theatrical experience! Just 40 km from Querétaro lies the Hacienda Atongo, a historic seventeenth-century estate. Here, we’ll take a guided tour with characters from another era, immersing ourselves in the rich history of the hacienda, from its main buildings to the vineyard. The visit will be brought to life with theatrical performances by local actors. We’ll also enjoy a refreshing drink made from the wine produced on the estate. After the tour, we´ll return to QUERETARO.

Day 12 Queretaro

Today, we’ll visit the Pueblo Mágico of SAN SEBASTIAN DE BERNAL, a charming town known for its tranquil atmosphere at the base of the world’s third-largest monolith. Here, you’ll find skilled textile artisans. We’ll also explore TEQUISQUIAPAN, famous for its mineral water spas and colonial-style buildings that line its cobblestone streets. This town is renowned for its handmade artisanal products, especially the woven baskets sold in the artisan market. A guided tour will be included, allowing us to delve into the local history.Our excursion will also include a delightful culinary experience, with a visit to the San Patricio Winery and the Bocanegra Cheese Cellar. You’ll learn about cheese production and the unique challenges of high-altitude winemaking, accompanied by a tasting of regional wines.

Day 13 Mexico City & Queretaro

Today, we’ll continue our journey to MEXICO CITY. The trip, which takes approximately three hours, will be on a regular line bus. Upon arrival, our assistant will be waiting to accompany you to your hotel.

Day 14 Mexico City

Breakfast. End of our services. Transfer from the hotel to the airport not included.
